Do I need riding experience?
No. Beginners are welcome and every rider is matched with a suitable horse. Our 3-Day package includes ground instruction before you mount.
How do I get to Sumba?
Fly Bali to Tambolaka — 50 minutes, daily with Nam Air and Wings Air. Airport transfers are complimentary for multi-day guests.
When is the best time to ride?
The dry season, April to October, brings the clearest skies and calmest beaches. Come in February or March for the Pasola festival.
Are the horses well cared for?
Yes. We work exclusively with well-trained, ethically cared-for Sandalwood Ponies owned by local Sumbanese families.
