Before You Message
Four things let us answer with an actual price instead of a follow-up question: your dates, how many people, which trip you are leaning toward, and whether your flights are already booked.
That last one matters more than it sounds. Every trip we run lands at Tambolaka and leaves from Waingapu — two different airports about four hours apart. If you have already booked a return into Tambolaka, tell us early and we will work around it.

How Booking Works
You message us. We come back with the exact price for your group size and length, the dates that are running, and what is included. If it works, we confirm and send the booking terms that apply to your trip.
On an open trip, a departure is confirmed once four people hold the same date. We will tell you where a date stands before you commit — and we would suggest not booking non-refundable flights until it is confirmed.
A private trip has no minimum to wait for. Two travellers is enough, and it runs on your dates.

How far ahead should I book?
Earlier is better for the June to September peak, when both trips and the better hotels fill first. Outside peak there is usually more room. Message us with your dates and we will tell you honestly what is still open.
What are your payment and cancellation terms?
We send the terms that apply to your trip along with your quote, rather than publishing a single policy here that may not match your dates or group. Ask and we will send them before you commit to anything.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Yes, and they are included. Both trips start with a pickup at Tambolaka Airport (TMC) and end with a drop-off at Waingapu Airport (WGP). You only need to get yourself to Sumba.
Can you book my flights?
We do not book flights, but we will tell you exactly which route to take and flag it if what you are about to book will not work — the two-airport thing catches people out regularly.
I am an agent or operator. Who do I speak to?
Email [email protected] and say so in the subject line. Sub-contracted ground handling is a different conversation from a guest booking and we would rather start it in the right place.
