A private ride removes the compromises built into any group departure. Your guide adjusts pace to your comfort, stops where you want to stop, and lengthens or shortens riding blocks based on how you actually feel that day.
Before the ride, our head guide plans the route with you. Love beaches? A coastal route across our three best, with a seafood picnic at the most secluded. Drawn to culture? A village circuit with time to sit rather than pass through.
Private rides are also the best format for a genuine beginner, because the instruction never stops being one-to-one.

Booking and Planning
During peak season, June to September, book at least 48 hours ahead. Off-peak, 24 hours' notice is usually enough — though the more warning we have, the more route planning we can do with you rather than for you.
Returning guests can request the same horse. Many of our regulars develop a favourite and ride the same mount every visit, which is one of the quieter pleasures of coming back.
